OpenBet to acquire OmniLogic to enhance lottery sportsbook offering

September 17, 2026

OpenBet announced on Tuesday it has agreed to acquire sportsbook specialist OmniLogic in a deal designed to strengthen the supplier’s presence in regulated lottery markets and expand its sportsbook capabilities for Tier 1 operators. The transaction, subject to regulatory approvals, is expected to be finalised later in 2026.

The acquisition will provide OpenBet with access to leading lottery operators across Europe’s regulated markets, adding what the company describes as “proven technology, specialist expertise and established customer partnerships” to complement its existing capabilities.

Strategic Focus on Lottery Markets

Nikos Konstakis, president of OpenBet, described the acquisition as “a natural extension” of the company’s ongoing strategy to serve operators in the most regulated and demanding markets. He emphasised that lotteries represent a pivotal focus area for future growth.

“Lotteries remain the core focus of our growth strategy, and OmniLogic has built a strong reputation in this sector through long-standing customer partnerships and a deep understanding of their requirements,” Konstakis said.

OpenBet characterised OmniLogic as “the partner of choice for lotteries worldwide”, highlighting the target company’s established relationships within the sector.

Proven Track Record in Regulated Markets

Founded by Vicente Torrejon and David Mark Gabor, OmniLogic has built its reputation over more than a decade by delivering sportsbook technology to regulated lottery operators and members of the World Lottery Association (WLA). The company’s platform supports omnichannel betting across the EMEA region, with integrated trading, risk management and back-office functionalities.

The leadership team highlighted access to OpenBet’s wider scale, capabilities and product portfolio as a significant benefit of the deal for existing customers.

“Our focus has always been on providing our customers with reliable technology, deep expertise and long-term partnership,” Torrejon and Gabor said. “Joining OpenBet gives us the opportunity to build on that foundation as part of one of the world’s leading sportsbook businesses. For our customers, it brings the additional scale, capabilities and product portfolio of OpenBet, while maintaining the specialist knowledge and continuity they value today.”

Building on Management Buyout Momentum

The acquisition follows OpenBet’s management buyout last year in a $450 million deal that saw CEO Jordan Levin and other senior executives take control of the platform business from Endeavor.

At the time of that transaction, Levin stated that “as this new chapter begins, OpenBet is better positioned than ever to drive market expansion and product innovation while defining the future of betting and gaming entertainment.”

The OmniLogic deal represents a concrete step in that expansion strategy, targeting a specific vertical where regulatory compliance and established operator relationships are paramount. The combination of OpenBet’s global scale with OmniLogic’s lottery-focused expertise positions the enlarged group to compete more effectively for contracts with state-owned and regulated lottery organisations across multiple jurisdictions.
