SweepX Casino in 2026: GiG’s Sweepstakes Platform and Its Brands

“SweepX casino” usually refers to SweepX, the sweepstakes casino platform Gaming Innovation Group built for operators. It is not a site you join as a player. It powers other companies’ brands, and two of them are confirmed live. A separate consumer listing called “SweepX” appears in some directories, but it has no announced launch date.

What Is SweepX Casino? GiG’s B2B Sweepstakes Platform, Not a Player Site

SweepX is a B2B sweepstakes casino platform from Gaming Innovation Group (GiG). It runs other operators’ brands on GiG’s technology. It is not a casino that players join directly.

Player-facing ranking pages are the main source of confusion. Some review sites list a consumer site called “SweepX” alongside dozens of operating brands. Covers’ October 2026 list of new sweepstakes casinos gives it an opening date of “TBD,” which means no launch date has been announced. LegalSportsReport’s October 2026 directory of 265+ sweepstakes casinos also lists SweepX. Neither entry shows a live player site. Both sit next to brands that are trading, and that is how a platform name ends up being read as a casino.

The history points the other way. GiG announced SweepX in May 2024 and named Primero as its first sweepstakes client. Primero is described as the largest land-based sweepstakes operator in the US. From the start, SweepX was positioned as infrastructure for an operator that already had customers. It was never presented as a GiG-branded destination.

There is no 2026 news about SweepX itself as of October 2026. The newest items are directory listings, and this post treats them as listings, not launches. If you are evaluating the platform, the useful evidence is narrower: which brands are live on it, what GiG says it does, and how GiG talks about US regulation.

Which Sweepstakes Casino Brands Run on SweepX?

Two brands are confirmed on SweepX. The first is Gold Rush City (goldrushcity.com), which went live on January 20, 2025 with Primero. The second is Splash Coins, which launched in June 2025. Everything else attached to the name is either a partner signing with no named brand or the unlaunched consumer listing.

“SweepX is the technology and control of a first class iGaming platform, powering unparalleled social and sweepstakes play .”

January 2025 partner signings Globally recognized social casino brand; cryptocurrency affiliate; veteran-led European iGaming business Not announced No named brand tied to the signings SiGMA

On January 14, 2025, GiG signed three new SweepX partners: a globally recognized social casino brand, a cryptocurrency affiliate and a European iGaming business led by industry veterans. GiG planned to launch two more sweepstakes casinos with the crypto affiliate and the European business by Q2 2025. Only Splash Coins is confirmed, and no third named brand has surfaced as of October 2026. Treat that plan as a plan. It has not been shown to be delivered.

A crypto affiliate among the partners does not tell you that SweepX processes crypto payments. GiG’s published launch features say nothing about payment methods, so ask GiG directly. The same applies to any vendor pitch built on partner counts. Ask which brands are live and trading, and get the domains.

What Features Does the SweepX Casino Platform Include?

At launch in January 2025, GiG listed three main SweepX features. The first is a dual-wallet system that separates real and virtual currencies. The second is a prize-redemption management tool. The third is an AI-driven content management system. That is the full published feature set. Pricing, integration counts and anything else need to come from GiG.

Dual wallet. A sweepstakes casino runs on two balances. Players buy coins that have no cash value. A separate promotional currency is the only balance that can be redeemed for prizes. The legal footing of the model depends on keeping that line clean: purchased coins never become redeemable, and the prize-eligible balance is never sold. Separating the two at the wallet level enforces that rule in the ledger. You are not relying on front-end logic to hold it. This is also why a SweepX-powered casino is not a real-money online casino in the licensed sense, even though prizes can be redeemed.

Prize redemption. This is where money leaves the business. Redemption tooling covers how prizes are approved and paid, including eligibility, identity checks before payout, review queues and the payout step. Ask GiG which of those steps are automated, which need manual review, and who sets the thresholds.

Content management. The CMS handles game lobbies and promotions. GiG describes it as AI-driven. Ask what the AI actually decides, such as lobby ordering or promotion targeting, and whether you can override it.

In a real-money casino, wallet and account logic sits in the player account management (PAM) layer. A sweepstakes platform extends that layer with a second currency and a redemption workflow. On a turnkey platform, that logic belongs to the vendor.

How Big Is the Sweepstakes Casino Market and How Risky Is US Regulation?

Casino.com reported that the US sweepstakes casino industry was expected to reach $11.4 billion in 2025. That replaces the $5.6 billion Eilers & Krejcik figure GiG cited at SweepX’s January 2025 launch, which drew on 2023–2024 data. The two numbers come from different sources and periods. Read the gap as a revised estimate, not as measured growth.

The regulatory picture matters more to a platform buyer than market size does. Casino Reports covered a Q2 investor call in which GiG discussed the future of US social casinos while promoting SweepX. The article was updated in June 2026, so the call may be earlier. On that call, Richard Carter, CEO of GiG’s platform and sportsbook business, said the US regulatory risk “is quite binary.”

Binary risk changes how you plan. A state either permits the dual-currency model or it does not. If it does not, revenue there can stop outright. It does not taper off the way it would under higher taxes or tighter marketing rules. A business case that spreads a modest haircut across every state misreads this kind of risk. Model each state as on or off, and know how much of your projected revenue sits in states where the question is open.

Check each target state’s position before launch, and recheck it on a schedule after launch. Use state statutes, regulator statements and legal counsel. Industry bodies such as the American Gaming Association follow state gaming policy and are worth tracking. Do not rely on a vendor’s view of which states are safe. A vendor’s commercial interest and your exposure are not the same thing.

Should an Operator Launch on SweepX Casino Software, a White Label or a Custom Build?

A turnkey platform such as SweepX suits operators that want speed and accept the vendor’s roadmap. A custom build suits operators that need to own the wallet, redemption and compliance logic as state rules shift. A white label sits further toward speed and gives up the most control.

Factor Turnkey sweepstakes platform White label Custom build
Time to launch Primero went from announcement in May 2024 to live in January 2025, about eight months. That is one data point. Usually the fastest route, because the brand goes onto an existing operation Longest. You build and test the wallet, redemption and back office yourself.
Control of dual-wallet logic Vendor owns it. You configure it. Little or none Full
Exposure to one vendor’s regulatory stance High. If the vendor withdraws from a state or changes the model, you follow. Highest. You inherit the provider’s decisions. Lowest. You decide when to switch off a state.
Cost structure Typically setup plus ongoing platform fees or revenue share Lower upfront, larger ongoing share to the provider Highest upfront. You own the asset and carry maintenance.

For the white-label trade-offs in more depth, see white label casino pros and cons. For what owning the stack involves, read building your own iGaming platform and the guide to player account management (PAM) systems, where the wallet logic lives.

Before you sign with any sweepstakes vendor, work through this checklist:

  • Confirmed live brands. Get domains that are trading today, not partner announcements.
  • Redemption controls. Find out who approves payouts, what checks run first, and whether you can change the thresholds.
  • State-by-state switch-off. Confirm you can disable purchases and redemptions in one state without touching the others, and how fast that happens.
  • Data ownership. Establish who holds player, transaction and redemption records, and in what format you can export them.
  • Exit terms. Check notice periods, migration support and what happens to open promotional balances if you leave.

The broader evaluation process is covered in how to pick a B2B iGaming vendor.

SweepX Casino FAQs Operators Ask Most

Can players sign up at SweepX casino directly?

No confirmed consumer site called SweepX was open as of October 2026. Directory listings show a ‘SweepX’ entry with a launch date marked TBD. Players reach SweepX only through the brands built on it, such as Gold Rush City and Splash Coins. Any site claiming to be the SweepX casino itself should be checked carefully before a purchase.

Who owns the SweepX sweepstakes platform?

SweepX is owned and run by Gaming Innovation Group (GiG), a B2B iGaming technology company. Within GiG it sits alongside the platform and sportsbook business led by Richard Carter. The operators who license it, such as Primero, own their consumer brands, but GiG supplies the underlying platform.

Is a SweepX casino a real-money online casino?

A sweepstakes casino on SweepX is built to operate outside real-money gambling rules by using two currencies. One currency is bought and played for fun, and the other is promotional and can be redeemed for prizes. Whether that model is lawful depends on the state, which is why GiG has described US regulatory risk as binary.

Does SweepX support crypto payments?

No crypto payment feature appears in GiG’s published SweepX feature list. GiG did sign a cryptocurrency affiliate as a SweepX partner in January 2025, but that is a marketing and distribution relationship, not a confirmed wallet capability. Operators that need crypto deposits should ask GiG directly and get the answer in writing.

How long does it take to launch a sweepstakes casino on SweepX?

The only public benchmark is the first launch: Primero was announced as a client in May 2024, and Gold Rush City went live on January 20, 2025. That gap is roughly eight months. GiG has not published a standard onboarding timeline, so later partners may move faster or slower depending on licensing, payments and content.
